Primary (impetigo, folliculitis, furunculosis, ecthyma) & secondary bacterial skin infections (infected dermatoses eg, infected eczema; infected traumatic lesions eg, abrasions, insect bites, minor wounds & burns) due to susceptible organisms. Prophylaxis: Avoid contamination of small wounds, incisions & other lesions. Prevent infection of abrasions & small cuts & wounds.
